Food Trailer · Onslow County, NC

Book the Trailer

We bring the pit to your spot and serve straight off the smoker.

Trailer or Catering?

Book the trailer when the trailer itself is part of the event — a block party, an appreciation day, a festival. We park on site and serve out the window, and guests can order as they come.

Catering is the right call when you need food ready at a set time for a set headcount — weddings, receptions, sit-down dinners. We cook it and bring it to you plated or on a buffet.

Not sure which one fits? Ask us — or head straight to catering.

How It Works

From Your Date to the First Plate

Four steps, and three of them are on us.

1. Send the Date

Tell us when and where. We check the calendar and come back within 24 hours — the trailer can only be one place at a time, so earlier is better.

2. Settle the Setup

Guests buying their own plates, or you covering the food? That answer sets the price. We quote it straight, no surprise line items.

3. We Roll In

We arrive about an hour ahead, level the trailer, and fire up. You do not have to lift anything or clean anything up.

4. We Serve, You Enjoy

Food comes off the pit and out the window hot. When the last plate goes out we pack up and leave the spot the way we found it.

Before We Roll Out

What Your Spot Needs

Worth checking now so nothing goes sideways on the day.

Room to Park

About 20 feet for the trailer plus space to pull in and back out. Level ground matters — pavement or gravel is ideal, dry grass is fine.

An Hour Head Start

Setup runs about an hour before the first plate. If there is a gate code, a permit, or a delivery window, tell us up front.

Power (Or Not)

We run our own generator, so no hookup is no problem. If you do have power on site we can use it and keep things quieter.

CL's Smokin Barrels BBQ food trailer serving at an event

One Team

Clyde owns this outfit and still works the pit himself — he’s on site at your event, not just on the invoice. Our crew handles the load-in, the line and the clean-up around him, so you get a full team on the day and one owner who answers for how the food turns out.

Popular weekends book out early. If you have a date in mind, send it over before someone else claims it.

Bring the Pit to You

Tell us where you want us and we'll check the date.

Earliest we can pull in and set up.

We need about an hour before this.

Leave blank and we'll plan on 3 hours.

A rough count is fine.

We tow the trailer to you, so we need to know where you are.

Who's paying for the food?

Guests paying at the window works like a pop-up. If you're covering it, we'll quote a minimum.

What are we parking on?

Grass is fine when it's dry — after heavy rain a loaded trailer sinks.

Room to pull in and back out?

The trailer needs about 20 feet plus room to swing. No tight alleys.

Power on site?

No hookup is no problem — we run our own generator.

We'll get back to you within 24 hours.
